Breaking the cycle and giving hope to women. It’s what Hope Rises is all about. This small transition house provides holistic services to previously incarcerated women to improve their health, and provide opportunities for personal growth.

Co-founder and Executive Director of Hope Rises, Kim Roxburgh, featured in the May issue of Soiree, will be our speaker at the August pot-luck. Kim’s work began in 2010 when she and co-founder, Christine Mills, partnered with Come Back Mission to create a holistic women’s empowerment center in Johannesburg, South Africa. The experience inspired them to create a program for women back in the Arkansas.

Hear more from Kim about this exciting program which has broad community support and has won several awards for outstanding service to the women and to the community.
